This year has been a testament to SE10’s dedication to professional growth, meaningful collaboration, and delivering impactful results. We embarked on exciting projects, took on diverse challenges, and expanded our global impact.

Our team shares their most memorable experiences from 2024, offering an inside look at the ventures, lessons, and triumphs that made it a year to remember and make us look forward to 2025.

I refuse to believe 2024 is a real year as it’s felt like a week. And a jam-packed week at that! Amongst the highs I have had, I have been invited to assist with more clients, taking on more responsibility, working closer with the Chicago and Singapore offices, and consequently increasing my knowledge of industries and technologies. I also continue to be made aware of the impressive individual skills of my colleagues around the globe that make SE10 a terrific team.

Heading to Piacenza with my colleague Hannah to help with Mediapoint & Exhibitions was always a pleasure. A little bit closer to home, I also enjoyed going back up to my hometown Manchester to help create video content for Victaulic, with our client’s pipe-joining products having been implemented in a new office complex right in the centre of the city.

As the year has closed out and the days have closed in, being invited to catch-up with articulated hauler manufacturer Rokbak in Scotland and venture over to Belgium for updates with Victaulic were of course always welcomingly warming.

One of my many 2024 highlights at SE10 has been supporting Italian publishing house and tradeshow organiser Mediapoint & Exhibitions in promoting industrial B2B exhibitions. These events spanned diverse sectors including concrete, energy, cybersecurity, and automotive, allowing me to deepen my understanding of these industries and gain valuable insights. I was particularly impressed by the friendliness of the HydrogEn Expo exhibitors, as well as the range of innovations on display, which showcased exciting potential for a more sustainable future. Another highlight was running alongside colleagues in the Cambridge Half Marathon. I’m so proud of our team’s dedication to the training and the funds we raised for Juno Women’s Aid. It was such an inspiring, uplifting, and rewarding experience.

2024 was a very fun year for making client videos, and I particularly enjoyed working with my colleague Rosie Hopkins on a film in Scotland, which centred on Volvo Penta Marine’s collaboration with Caledonian MacBrayne, the major operator of passenger and vehicle ferries across the Scottish west coast. It was a great opportunity to procure visually arresting drone shots of waterborne vessels in wonderful surroundings and for experimenting with filming at sea. I also greatly enjoyed running my first half-marathon in March with the SE10 team.

It’s been another big year at SE10, and I’ve loved every minute. A highlight has got to be driving through the highlands and islands of western Scotland with Ben to film a case study video for a client. The scenery was breathtaking, and the products and innovations we got to see and feel really helped us to deepen our knowledge of our client’s brand and its technical detail.

With several new client accounts, I’ve expanded my knowledge of the diverse B2B industries. I’ve continued creating engaging social media content, impactful articles, and event materials for key trade shows like PACK EXPO 2024 and bauma 2025. One highlight has been contributing  to major award wins for both clients and SE10, including a prestigious gold Stevie Award and MarCom Award for our work on a print magazine with outdoor equipment company AriensCo.

2024 has been a year full of growth, collaboration, and exciting stories. For our clients in the packaging industry — Waldner North America and Surdry North America — the highlight was undoubtedly PACK EXPO Chicago, the largest industry trade show in North America. The extensive pre-show preparation for this massive event kept us pretty busy! Attending the event in person, SE10’s CEO Ben Shaw and I supported our clients on site, enjoying the exciting opportunity to connect with client teams in person and explore the latest innovative trends shaping the packaging industry.

This year I also had the pleasure to join the SE10 team supporting our client Schindler. It’s been a rewarding experience to promote the groundbreaking technologies the company has been developing in recent years. In North America, we’ve engaged in fascinating discussions with journalists about the cities of the future, and how smart elevator solutions can play a crucial role in building repurposing projects, making urban environments more efficient and sustainable.

In the world of cranes, one story really stood out for me: the incredible revival of a 43-year-old Manitowoc crawler, brough back to life after a complete overhaul by the manufacturer’s EnCORE team. It was impressive work that took almost two years! Witnessing the dedication and expertise of everyone involved in this massive remanufacturing project was inspiring, and writing about this achievement was a privilege.

This has been another great year at SE10! I had the opportunity to work on some creative pay-per-click campaigns for our clients Harman and Manitowoc towards the end of the year, which pushed me to think outside of the box. Collaborating with my US-based colleague Zack Shen was a highlight, as we successfully grew Harman’s brands by over 180,000 new followers through creative content strategies and paid campaigns.

Visiting our London office to connect with the team and discuss exciting projects we were working on was another highlight, since it’s always fun spending time with the SE10 London group!

Personally, one of my most rewarding experiences this year was through SE10’s Pledge 1% programme. I had the opportunity to apply my digital marketing skills to help launch a hospitality event that raised over £30,000 for two amazing charities; Make A Wish and The Burnt Chef Project.

Matt Pearman, Associate Director, Singapore

My first full year at SE10 has been an incredible journey filled with opportunities to collaborate with talented colleagues and work alongside amazing clients such as Volvo Construction Equipment, Lintec & Linnhoff, BlueScope, Manitowoc, and Ecolab. A standout moment for me in 2024 was partnering with Volvo Trucks and their Singapore dealer on the landmark handover of two electric trucks to DSV Air & Sea. This event held particular significance as it marked the debut of Volvo’s electric trucks in Singapore, symbolising a transformative step toward sustainable logistics in the region.

As we approach 2025, I’m energised by the prospect of exploring innovative strategies and creative campaigns to further elevate the brands the team and I support across Asia. I’m looking forward to building on this year’s successes and continuing to deliver impactful results that drive progress and innovation for our clients.

From groundbreaking client projects to shared personal milestones, 2024 was a year of creativity, connection, and impact for SE10. Each story highlights not just what we achieved, but how collaboration and passion drive everything we do. As we step into 2025, we’re inspired to push boundaries, explore new ideas, and strengthen the partnerships that make our work so rewarding. Here’s to a future filled with more moments that shape not just our team, but the industries we’re proud to serve.
