Three months after congregating in London and with Q1 2023 already approaching its end, the UK contingent of SE10 flocked to the Brighton beach front for a two-day meet-up. Though sun by the shore wasn’t on the agenda, SE10 branded sticks of rock got the team swiftly into the seaside spirit almost as eagerly as the town’s most famous resident, the seagull.
Led by associate director Hannah and presided over by managing director Ben — the latter fresh off the plane from visiting SE10 colleagues in the USA — every participant in the group had the chance to express themselves. To kick off the event, each member of the team provided detail and insight into numerous client successes and respective account plans moving forward. One recent achievement highlighted was Volvo Penta’s Innovation award at the Miami Boat Show.
The team also discussed targets for the year — and beyond — and had a general catch-up and chit-chat about a very busy and productive 2023 thus far. The opportunity to converse face-to-face in a relaxed environment allowed questions to bounce spontaneously and be answered swiftly, encouraging continued cross-company co-operation and synergy.
Other business discussed included increased focus on SE10’s Pledge 1% involvement with examples of colleagues volunteering their time for good causes and charities as the initiative becomes embedded company wide.
Though the weather unfortunately wouldn’t permit time on Brighton’s iconic pier, SE10 hopes for bluer skies in June at the all-company meet-up, this time at the opposite end of the UK in Edinburgh.
