SE10 has jumped an impressive 18 places in industry bible PR Week’s benchmark Top 150 PR Consultancies rankings. Based on the agency’s UK turnover, the 2015 Top 150 PR Consultancies list sees SE10 race to 107th position, moving up from its 2014 ranking of number 125. Headquartered in London, with offices in Chicago and Singapore, SE10 has featured on the respected list since 2010.
2014 was a year of growth for SE10, with a selection of new clients – including clothing giant C&A, i2i Events Group, industry social network Indoogoo and pump specialist Pioneer Pump – contributing to positive momentum throughout the year.
The UK is the world’s second largest market for public relations, after the US, and PR Week’s Top 150 Consultancies is compiled using UK fee income figures, bringing together the cream of PR names including Edelman, Brunswick and Weber Shandwick. Statistics show that 2014 was an optimistic year for the industry, with an increase of 10.9% in total fee income, compared to 2013. PR Week suggests that this is due to the upturn in the global economy and a surge in marketers moving towards PR and away from other elements of the marketing mix. Medium-sized agencies experienced a particular revival, largely shedding their ‘squeezed middle’ tag. Medium sized SE10 grew faster than the market in 2014, with the agency recording a 17% increase in figures.
“We are pleased and surprised to have made such a big jump in this year’s Top 150 ranking,” says Brian O’Sullivan, Partner at SE10. “2014 was a positive year for the industry as a whole, and we are happy to be rising faster than the tide of a recovering market. It’s not all luck though – at SE10 we are clear about what value we bring to clients and have a team of keen and hard-working people who are enthusiastic about delivering it – both important factors in growing business and ensuring we achieve results for our clients.”
